I hope you had a wonderful day! My boys also had their Play Day yesterday - from one bouncy castle to another!!

Tomorrow is a Day 3, our last day of school and our Promotion Ceremony. We will be celebrating the growth in our students with promotion and graduation ceremonies tomorrow, Friday, June 14^th. The ceremonies will take place at the dome. JK-Grade 2 will take place from 9:00 – 11:00 AM, Grade 3-6 will take place from 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM and the Grade 7-8 Promotion Ceremony, Grade 10 MYP Graduation Ceremony and Grade 11 Academic Awards will take place from 1:30 -3:30 PM. All are welcome to attend. JK – Grade 2 students will be bused to and from the dome. Students in Grades 3 – 8 may walk or be bused to and from the dome depending on the weather and the discretion of the class or homeroom teacher. Students may dress up for this event if they would like to. To ensure all ceremonies are completed according to schedule, students being promoted to the next grade will not pause for individual photos on stage. Instead, a group photo will be taken directly after each class exits the stage. Students who are graduating the PYP (Grade 6) or MYP (Grade 10) programmes will be pausing for individual photos on stage. Students receiving academic awards will also be recognized at this time. Shuttles will not be available for parents. Report cards for JK – Grade 6 students will be distributed to students on this day. Dismissal is at the regular time. If you choose to take your child/children out of school early on this day, please ensure you enter and exit through the front reception door, and sign out your child.

Today we had our final house games of the year - from a two-legged race, to teacher trivia to Hungry, Hungry House! It was an epic house cup ceremony! Congratulations to ZETA, with 1, 048, 200 house points, for winning the House Cup!! Second was Kappa with 1, 016, 800 house points and third place was Theta with 983, 300 house points. We also visited our reading buddies one last time and I handed out the Fun Awards!

We will get it back next year Kappa! Congratulations Zeta!

After care invoices and lunch fees have been sent home out. Be sure to pay your all of your invoices by Friday, June 14^th, so your child can bring home their report card!

With summer just around the corner, what better way for your children to spend the summer but here at SJA! SJA Summer camp registrations were sent home earlier this year. We are offering 7 weeks of summer fun with a minimum of 3 excursions per week. There is lunch and snacks options and before and after care are available. Register before it is too late!!
