St. Jude’s FC – A new and exciting soccer program has arrived at SJA. St. Jude’s FC is the official soccer academy affiliated with SJA, which is currently taking applicants for its inaugural season. St. Jude's FC will be playing against the best REP teams around the area. I have had one of the best years teaching this group of kids. It truly has been an amazing year. They always worked hard but we always found time to have some fun and share some laughs. I hope everyone has a wonderful summer and I can’t wait to hear about all of the adventures in September. May your summer be full of fun, laughter, and excitement!

Tomorrow is our Promotion/Graduation ceremony. We are asking that students wear something nice, as they will be receiving their certificates on stage. Parents may pick up their child after the ceremony at The City Church, however you will have to return to the school to pick up their school bags. Please be sure to enter and exit through the front reception, and to sign your child out.

Friday, June 15  - Last day of school & Promotion/Graduation ceremonies at The City Church – JK-Grade 2 10-11 AM, Grades 3-6 12 noon-1 PM, and 7-10 1:30-2:30

Our day today:

Today we had some free time to play, handed out the fun awards, watched some of the World Cup, and had a picnic in the classroom, while watching Mr. Peabody. We ended the day by water ballooning the teachers!! SO FUN!!

Friday is our Promotion/Graduation ceremony. We are asking that students wear something nice, as they will be receiving their certificates. A note from Ms. Ross regarding After Care - May after care invoices have been sent out. Please be sure to check your junk mail. Payments are due on Friday, June 15th. If payments have not been paid in full by June 15^th, then the report card will be held until it is paid in full.

Our day today:

Today we played our final few house games, which tested our knowledge, agility, and creativity. We also found out who won the House Cup – WAY TO GO KAPPA!! Four years in a row!! We came back to the room for a snack/lunch and then headed out for an afternoon of fun at the Year-End Play Day.

Homework:

-Read 40 minutes

Some of the exciting house games...balloon popping, creating a smiley face on bread, and using your mouth to carry penne noodles from a plate to a cup!
