 I hope you all had a wonderful day. Thursday April 2 will be our last day this week and we will return on Tuesday April 7.

A few important reminders/important dates

When we return from our Easter break (Tuesday April 7) there will be a uniform change. Students will be allowed to wear polo shirts.

Thank you to those who have brought in Kleenex, wipes, and water. We go through them quickly so please keep them coming!

MATH

Today we started Transformational Geometry! We began by looking at the introduction page and trying to think what this unit will be about. Then we looked at definitions that we will use throughout the term such as translation, rotation, and reflection. The students then created a booklet to help them remember what those terms meant with examples.

LANGUAGE

Today was our short language period so we started our last OWA (Ontario Writing Assessment) of this year. The pre-test was completed today. The post-test will be completed by next week!

U.O.I.

Today we looked at different rock formations. We read a small bit of information and looked at rock formations on the Internet and picked out different things we saw in them. Then we answered some questions about the rock formations.
