MATH
Today we looked at grids and
coordinates. We learned how to read them. We looked at reading directions and
following directions to get us from one spot to another.
LANGUAGE
Today we discussed what a sentence
is. A sentence is a group of words that express a complete thought. It begins
with a capital and usually ends with a period. Then we looked at the different
types of sentences. A declarative sentence makes a statement. It begins with a
capital letter and ends with a period. An interrogative sentence asks question.
It begins with a capital letter and ends with a question mark. An exclamatory
sentence shows sudden or a strong feeling. An exclamatory sentence begins with
a capital letter and ends with an exclamation point.
U.O.I.
Today we looked at how rocks were
formed. We read some information from our Science and Technology books. Then we
answered some fill in the blanks. Niah was kind enough to bring in a mineral so
we examined it. Shrihan found a game on his computer so he showed us how to
play.
Just a few of the pranks that were pulled on me today!!
Have a wonderful night!
Mrs. Hocevar :)
