Today we looked at

to 1, 2/10 is closer to 0 and 4/10 is closer to ½.
LANUGAGE
Today we had our
lesson 17 spelling test. We also had a chance to read some of our novel study 'Its All Relative.' Thank you Lucas and Tanya for reading! Please remember
that we are working on the speeches in class. Please do not complete your
speech at home.
Students are expected
to read for at least 20 minutes everyday. They can record it in their reading
log. Reading logs will be checked

All cars and materials have been sent home. Please bring the car and red folder back on
Monday! They look fabulous! What a great job everyone did! This weekend
students are to finish their car, if not completed, and test them. They are to
use a push and pull force to make it move. They can complete the rest of the
booklet and be prepared to discuss their car on Monday!
For this summative, students will be asked to design
create and a vehicle that can be moved by pushing or pulling force. Please do
not build the car at home! We will be using all of the week to construct the
car. The construction of the car must be completed by Friday, January 29.The
tests will be completed the weekend of the January 30 at home. We will begin
presentations on Monday, February 1 and Tuesday, February 2. A booklet has been
sent home with all the information that will be needed. Please send this
booklet back on a daily basis.
Have a great night!
