Unit of Inquiry

Today we learned about the skeletal system. We watched a Bill Nye video on bones and muscles and then in groups we put together our own skeletons.

Inquiry into Mathematics

Today we played Kahoot, an online game where students read a question and then using their device they choose the correct answer. It is a race against the clock kinda game. We also played around the world using multiplication questions. Congratulations to Ruhaan for taking the win!

Inquiry into Language

Today we read the first chapter of Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, which is the first novel study we do in Grade 5. We also played Sparkle, a spelling game where students try to spell the correct word, each saying one letter of the word at a time and visited Ms. Hayward in the library.
