I hope everyone had a lovely weekend! Ours was filled with Fun Fairs, play dates, swimming, ice cream, and pizza parties!

Important information and reminders:

A note from Mrs. Smith - June after care will be pay as you go and forms were sent home last week! All after care balances must be paid before the last day or report cards will be held back!

Parent Guild will be hosting an Ice Cream Day on the last day of school, Friday, June 16. Forms were sent home last week and payments we due last Friday.

After care payments were due today.

A note from the PYP teachers - We at SJA have had a wonderful year with your children, but it is time to send them off to the next grade. Our PYP promotion and graduation ceremonies are taking place next week. Students are asked to dress smart casual on these days. The ceremonies will take place over two days. The JK to Grade 2 promotion ceremony will take place on Tuesday, June 13^th. The Grade 3 to 5 promotion ceremony and Grade 6 graduation will take place on Wednesday, June 14^th. Both ceremonies begin at 9 am and should be completed by 10:30 am. Parents and families are invited to attend. We look forward to seeing you then.

Next week is our last week! Please note the following items!

Monday – regular school uniform

Tuesday – casual day

Wednesday – causal day – wear something nice for the ceremony

Thursday – jersey day/sports day

Friday – house colour day

Today we started the day off by filling in our last page student comments for our report cards. Then it was off to French. We then began organizing our work for our IB binders, which we will get to tomorrow. After lunch, Mr. MacDonald was kind enough to take us for gym, as our gym period was cancelled. Once we came back inside, we began a craft and finished off the day with Reading Buddies and some quiet reading time! We also had the chance to view a grade 6 presentation on Cyberbullying.

HOMEWORK: Those of you who have not yet brought in a picture of you and your father, please do so for tomorrow. A kind reminder it must be an actual picture!
