I hope you had a wonderful weekend! Oakwood is hosting a bake sale tomorrow.

St. Jude’s FC A new and exciting soccer program has arrived at SJA. St. Jude’s FC is the official soccer academy affiliated with SJA, which is currently taking applicants for its inaugural season. St. Jude's FC will be playing against the best REP teams around the area. Do not miss the opportunity to sign your child up to not only play against the best, but be coached by the best as well.  Please see flyer sent home for further information. If you are interested in joining, please fill out the flyer and send into Ms. Dawn. Let’s go St. Jude’s FC!!


Summer Camp – Ms. Smith is now accepting registrations for summer camp. Registration forms have been sent home. Please see flyer below for more information or contact Ms. Smith at bsmith@stjudesacademy.com.


Year-End Play Day - Our Parent Guild is hosting a Year-End Play Day on Wednesday, June 13 from 11-3. There will be bouncy castles, face painting, games, and a delicious BBQ!

Friday, June 15  - Last day of school & Promotion/Graduation ceremonies at The City Church – JK-Grade 2 10-11 AM, Grades 3-6 12 noon-1 PM, and 7-10 1:30-2:30.

MATH:

Today we focused on probability and fractions, which is a continuation of our last unit!

LANGUAGE:

Today we visited our reading buddies, who showed us their final projects. We also watched Oakwood’s ‘Spring Concert.’

Homework:

-Read 40 minutes
-Sign and return spelling test #34

UNIT OF INQUIRY:

Today was continued work on our summative. For our summative, students will be expected to create a poetry book of three poems and then choose between a fine art project, skit, or dance. Students will present their poems and their other project choice on Monday, June 11.

Homework:

-Summative due Monday, June 11
