Hello everyone!

I hope you had a great day! Tomorrow is a Day 6, gym, St. Patrick’s Day spirit and our last day of school before March Break. Tomorrow is our class party while we watch a documentary about Shannen – please feel free to send in some snack items; only 100% nut free will be accepted. Any items that ‘may contain’ will be returned home. Jump Rope for Heart donation packages have been sent home. We will be collecting donations for this event from now until tomorrow, Friday, March 6. You can collect money or make a donation online. Hot lunch payments are due tomorrow Friday, March 6. After care payments are due by Sunday, March 15. Please take some time to check our lost and found, which is over flowing. Anything that is not collected will be donated over March Break to the Diabetes Association. Please check at home for house points and return to me if any are found!  ** For our coding unit, which begins in May, students will need to have a working laptop and email address, as they will be required to send their work to me via email. Gmail accounts were most popular last year!**

This week the Grade 5s focused on the future tense of regular and irregular verbs. They conjugated verbs and also constructed sentences using the future tense. They identified the infinitive of the verbs and the auxiliary of avoir.

The Grade 5s will be attending a French theatrical presentation ‘Les Insectes Sur Scene’ on Tuesday, March 31st from 9:30 to 11:30 AM.
