-MMS pg 76-77

Today we read chapter 8 of Anne of Green Gables. In this chapter Anne wants to make a cake for Mrs. Allen, but accidently uses this instead of vanilla. Ask me what it was. We also worked on our Canadian animal reports. Rough copies are due tomorrow and good copies will be due Thursday. Please help out with paraphrasing. Many students are still copying word for word. We will be completing our OWA post-assessment on Friday. Students will be required to write a report on a specific Canadian animal chosen by me. They will be given research and asked to write a introduction, three body paragraphs, and a conclusion.

-Read for 40 minutes
-Finish rough copy of report

Today we officially began our second Unit of Inquiry – Light and Sound. Today we completed a Wonder Wall, where students had to write a question about light and sound. We also created a vocabulary sheet and began our title page.

-Finish title page – it must have colour
-Bring in empty toilet paper rolls and small yogurt containers for Thursday

Title page creations!

Sounds are all around us!

I hope you have a wonderful night!
