Monday March 2 is PJ
Day.
Bake Sale runs March 4
& 5.
Thursday March 5 is our
trip to Medieval Times. We will leave promptly at 9:00 and return by 3:00.
March 2-6 is Spirit Week! Tuesday is Jersey Day, Wednesday is House Colour Day,
Thursday is Super Heroes and Princess Day, and Friday is St. Patrick's
Day.
Friday March 6th April lunch forms are due!
March 9 – March 20 – No
School for March Break!
MATH
Today the Grade 3’s looked at
measuring temperature. They learned that we measure temperature in degrees celcius and how to read a thermometer. The Grade 4’s looked at estimating
times.
LANGUAGE
For this period we completed our
spelling test and then read a few chapters from our read aloud book “Stay Out
of the Basement” by R.L. Stine. Next week we will be looking at how to write a
letter.
U.O.I.
Today we looked at the housing of
Medieval Times. We read about the descriptions of the house and learned that a serf’s
house is much different than that of a King’s! Then the students did their own
research on houses and made notes.
