MATH
Today for math we looked at telling
time. We discussed the differences between an analog clock and a digital clock.
We looked at what AM and PM mean and what the hands on an analog clock
represent. We learnt that there are more than one way to tell the time. It
could be 2:15, 15 minutes past 2, or quarter past 2! This is a great unit to
assist your children with at home. Ask them to tell you the time, how long
something will last, how many minutes have passed, etc.
LANGUAGE
Thank you very much to Melia who
put together a slide show on Black History Month. She took the time to show the
students her presentation and answer any questions they may have had. We also
listened to 2 songs that Melia used to help demonstrate her point. Great job
Melia and thank you!
U.O.I.
Our stain glass art project turned
out great. They are a beautiful addition to our classroom. Thank you to Aryan for sharing his research
on Medieval Times! We then continued to work on our dictionaries!
Matthew singing O'Canada!
More of our beautiful stain glass.
Have a great night!
