MATH
Today we looked at
ordering and comparing fractions. For example 4/6 < 5/6 and 1 1/3, 1 2/3 and 2 1/3 are in order from greatest to
least. There are some students who need to review the homework from the previous
few days so please do so.
LANUGAGE
Today we played
‘Sparkle’ for our spelling test since it was a review week. We also began our
good copies, which will be due on Monday. I would recommend that students begin
practising their speeches at home. Please keep in mind that it has to be
between 3-5 minutes. We will begin practising our speeches next week. Please remember that we are working on the
speeches in class. Please do not complete your speech at home.
Students are expected
to read for at least 20 minutes everyday. They can record it in their reading
log. Reading logs will be checked
every Friday.
UOI
Today we labelled our map of Canada and completed a
worksheet titled ‘People Live in Communities.’
Have a great weekend!
