I hope everyone had a great night!

Just a reminder to send your child with proper outdoor gear…coats, boots, hats, mitts, and snow pants.

IMPORTANT DATES AND INFORMATION:

I will be sending home March Break homework on Wednesday. The grade 4’s will need to complete a math booklet, a research assignment on First Nations Communities, read for at least 20 minutes a day, as well as create a photo journal of their March Break. It must contain at least 12 pictures with descriptions. The can create a book for their journal out of anything they would like.

March Break camp forms have been sent home. If you have any questions about the March Break camp, please email Mrs. Smith at bsmith@stjudesadacemy.com. Please send in the forms and money as soon as possible.

Reading logs due every Friday. They will not be due this Friday!!

Next week (Feb 29-Mar 4) is spirit week. Everyday we will have a different themed day. We will also play house games throughout the week!

MYP Shakespeare Play ‘The Merchant of Manhattan’ has been postponed until Wednesday, March 23 at 7:00 PM.

SJA’s next bake sale will happen Tuesday, March 1 & Wednesday, March 2.

Hatch and squash after school activity forms due tomorrow Wednesday, March 2.

CN Tower field trip is taking place on Thursday, March 3. All students will be expected to wear their full uniform. We will be leaving at 8:45 am!

MATH

We have finished math until after the break. Upon on return we will begin our unit on measurement. We used this time to work on our UOI summative maps and clean out our cubbies!

LANGUAGE

Today we worked on our ‘Stuart Little’ novel study. We read chapter 12 and 13 and completed some comprehension questions. We worked with our table groups, so everyone had a chance to read!

UOI

Today we continued working on our summatives. UOI summatives will be due by day end on Wednesday, March 2.
