We had another fun filled spirit day! Our house game today involved a relay, where
partners had to hold a balloon together and prevent it from dropping. Great job
to Ronit and Jasmeet for participating! Just a reminder that tomorrow is our
pizza party!

Spirit week is happening next week (Monday, March 5 – Friday, March 9). Friday
will be St. Patrick’s Day Spirit.
St. Jude’s FC – A new and exciting soccer program has arrived at SJA. St. Jude’s FC is
the official soccer academy affiliated with SJA, which is currently taking applicants
for its inaugural season. Please see
flyer sent home for further information. If you are interested in joining,
please fill out the flyer and send into Ms. Dawn. Let’s go St. Jude’s FC!!
A note from Ms. Dawn – Scholastic forms were sent home
today. All orders will be due Friday,
March 9. Payments can be made using Cheque or Parent Pay. Cash will not be
accepted as a form of payment.

A note from Ms. Ross - February after care invoices have been sent out. They are due on Monday, March 19th. After
this date late charges will apply. If a child’s after care invoice has not been
paid in full by March 28th, then the report card will be held until payment has
been received.
A note from Oakwood – On Friday, March 29, Oakwood Academy will be holding A Silent
Dance. A ‘Silent Dance’ is a dance in which students
are given individual headphones where they can listen to various types of music
while controlling the volume. This dance
is an amazing way to foster inclusion and provide an opportunity for everyone
to participate in a school dance. It provides a sensory friendly environment
for all students at both Oakwood and St. Jude’s. Admission to the dance will be $15.00
cash and this will include a drink. Please
see letter sent home today for further information.
A note about March Break Camp - Registration forms were
sent home back in October. We have had many students sign up since then and
especially the last few days. If you are interested in registering your child
for our amazing March Break camp, please send in the completed registration
form, along with the $20 one-time non-refundable deposit in order to secure
your child's spot (this could be paid in cash or through fresh books). This
year there are two options to chose from the first being lunch and two snacks
provided or the second being send your own packed lunch and a discounted camp
rate! We also have daily rates available. Please contact Ms. Smith bsmith@stjudesacademy.com for more details.

A note from Ms. Bancud - You are now
able to order for April Lunches. The deadline for April lunches is Friday,
March 29th, 2018. After this date, our system closes and is
unable to open for April ordering. Please make sure your

are due on Friday, April 6th, 2018.
This month's
special is 1 Pancake with Vanilla Cream for $2.50 with a side of
syrup and 3 Pancakes with Vanilla Cream for $5.00 that will be available
every Friday!

two options to pay for lunches. Cash and Freshbooks.
- Shortly after completing your order, a Freshbooks invoice
will be sent to your email.
- It may
take one or two days to process your order to Freshbooks, so please be
check your email diligently for the invoice.
- We no longer accept cheque as a method of payment.

MATH:
Today was our math test, and with that we have
officially finished out last math unit of Term 2. I will try my best to mark
and send home by tomorrow. We will begin another Geometry Unit upon our arrival
back at school on Monday, March 26.

Today we used our language period to work on our
comics. We also met our reading buddies.

Today we continued the good copy of our comic. I am very happy with how
they have turned out after all the technical difficulties!
