MATH
Today we looked at measuring mass and capacity. Capacity is the amount a container can hold. It is measured by litres (big items, L) or millilitres (smaller items, mL). 1000 mL = 1 L!! Mass is a measure of how heavy objects are. There are measured in grams (small item, g) and kilograms (bigger items, kg). 1000 g = 1 kg!! Measurement math test will take place on Monday, April 11! A review will be sent home on Friday!

LANGUAGE
Today we had our long period of math as our schedule was changed and we had music yesterday! Today we began working on a graphic story. A graphic story is one that uses pictures to tell the story. Narrative captions also help to tell the story. It is similar to a comic.

UOI
Today we looked at Elements of a story! Ms. B read ‘Goldie Locks Has Chicken Pox’ and they students filled out a story element work sheet using the book. Elements of a story include genre, author, setting, characters, themes, conflict, climax, and plot.

I hope you have a great night!
