wonderful weekend! Tomorrow is a Day 5 and music. Please do not forget your instrument.
On Saturday, I enjoyed a
day of riding roller coasters with Carter at Canada’s Wonderland and Mark
enjoyed riding the midway rides with Kase at the Georgetown Fall Fair.

is our SJA and Oakwood Welcome Back BBQ,
which will take place from 4:00-5:30 PM out in our back recess area. Order
forms have been sent home. Please return, along with cash, no later than Friday,
September 13th.

Unit of Inquiry
Today
was our first day exploring matter. We discussed our learning goals and success
criteria. We wrote out questions regarding matter and the K and W of our KWL
chart (What we know, what we want to know, and what we learned). We also watched
a video and took jot notes.

Mathematics
Today
we wrote our pre-assessment for our whole numbers unit. Tomorrow we will learn
about how to read and write numbers up to a greater to 1,000,000.

Today
we completed our first spelling lesson – words with the sound of k, kw, and n.
We wrote the words in our agendas and completed the corresponding activities.
