I hope everyone
enjoyed your night! Now that the cold weather is here, please ensure that your
children come prepared…coats, hats, mitts, boots, and anything else that will
keep them warm.
IMPORTANT DATES AND INFORMATION:
A NOTE FROM OUR MYP STUDENTS:
A NOTE FROM MYP: We are very excited to
let you know that the MYP students will be taking an action to raise funds to
send a boy named Brian to school. Our goal is $750, which includes Brian's
board, books, food, and tuition. There are three ways you can help support
Brian:
1) Donate $2 and participate in our casual day
this Wednesday, December 9th. Forms have been sent home.
2) Participate in our gingerbread decorating
activity. Forms and fees have been sent home. Forms due by Friday,
December 11. Cookies to be handed out next week
3) Bring in loonies and toonies to fill up
your child's house jar! The house that fills their jar first will receive a 20
000 house points!
Thank you for your donations in advance! The
MYP Students.
There will be two
shows for the Christmas concert this year. They will both take place on Wednesday, December 16. The first show
will take place in the afternoon from 1:30-3:00
PM and the evening show will take place from 6:30-8:30 PM! Students are
expected to be a both performances (afternoon and evening).
After care
payments and afterschool activities forms due by Monday, December 14!
January lunch
forms are due by Wednesday, December 16 by
3:30 PM!
A note from Parent Guild: We held our holiday fundraising presentation
yesterday morning and are pleased to hand out prizes for the top sellers.

THANK YOU GRADE 3’S FOR MAKING YEAR AHEAD DAY SO
WONDERFUL! WE HAD A GREAT DAY. WE PLAYED AROUND THE WORLD (SANNVI WAS THE
CHAMP, AND EVEN BEAT ME!!), READ A CHRISTMAS BOOK, AND BEGAN WORKBOOK FILLED
WITH MATH PROLEMS, RIDDLES, WORD SEARCHES, AND CROSS WORDS. I HOPE THEY HAD AS MUCH FUN AS I DID!!!
I HOPE THE GRADE 4’S HAD FUN WITH MS. KOMINEK! I
MISSED AND LOOK FORWARD TO HAVING YOU BACK TOMORROW!
