Good afternoon,
I hope everyone
enjoyed the night! Now that the cold weather is here, please ensure that your
children come prepared…coats, hats, mitts, boots, and anything else that will
keep them warm.
We finally heard
the news we have been waiting for. The grade 4 class won the pizza
party…WOOHOO!! Taran also won the grand prize of $50 for being the top sales
person! Well done Taran!! Pizza party date to be announced!!!!

MATH
Today we began
working with division. This can be very difficult for students to grasp so any
extra support at home would be greatly appreciated!! We worked with arrays to
visually see how to divide. We also came to realize that multiplication is
related division (30/5 = 6 and 5 x 6 = 30).
LANGUAGE
Today we had our
lesson 11 spelling test and we read another chapter of our novel study and
completed the corresponding activities. We also had a chance to practice our
Christmas concert songs!
UOI
Today we read
information card #20 and completed the activities as a class.
I look forward to
seeing you all this evening!
