I hope everyone enjoyed the weekend and had a fun Halloween! Our house certainly did! Here are my boys dressed up for Halloween! We all hope Shane has a great birthday night!

Guy Fawkes Day – Thursday, November 5 (please memorize the poem that was sent home today… house points for each student who can memorize it!)

PD DAY – Friday, November 6

NO SCHOOL – Wednesday, November 11 for Remembrance Day.

A new fundraising event is just around the corner. From November 9-20, parent guild will be having a gift card campaign and cookie dough fundraiser. Perfect for the Christmas season, which is just around the corner. A flyer was sent home today. All funds raised will go towards a PA System!! MATH

Today we looked at measuring angles in quadrilaterals. This work is precise so it is important the students do not rush and ensure the protractors are lined up perfectly.

LANGUAGE

Today we worked on our spelling lesson 8 activities. Students wrote the word list in their agenda and then completed corresponding activities. We also began our novel study, ‘Little House in the Big Woods.’ We read chapter one.

U.O.I. (UNIT OF INQUIRY)

Today we took some time to organize our cubbies and complete the title page for 'Little House in the Big Woods.'
