enjoyed the weekend. What a gorgeous day we had yesterday and today!

A new fundraising
event has arrived!! I hope you are selling those cookies and gift cards!! From
November 9-20, parent guild will be having a gift card campaign and cookie
dough fundraiser. Perfect for the Christmas season, which is just around the
corner. All funds raised will go towards a PA System!! GET OUT THERE AND SELL
SOME COOKIES AND GIFT CERTIFICATES!! The class that sells the most will win a
pizza party!! Lets go grade 4’s! All order forms are due Friday, November 20! Please continue to check out the Parent Guilds

With
the money that was earned during the October movie night, parent guild were
able to purchase 2 projectors! Thank you so much to the parent guild and all of
those who came to watch the movie!!
Parent
guild will be holding a open forum for parents on Thursday, November 17 from
5:30-6:30 pm. Please feel free to join and find our more about our lovely
parent guild and ask questions if you need to!!!
MATH
Today was our unit
3 geometry test. What a tough unit! I will mark as soon as I can and get them
sent home for you to have a look at. Tomorrow we begin our 4th unit
– Multiplication and Division. We will play around the world tomorrow and have
our pre-assessment on Wednesday!
LANGUAGE
Today we worked on
our spelling list 10 activities. The students wrote the words in their agendas
and then completed the corresponding activities. We also began working on our
UOI summative. Please see rubric below!!
U.O.I.
Today we began our
UOI summative ‘A Day in the Life of…’ Students are to write about a day in the
life of a pioneer man, woman, or child. Please remember to bring in all
research on so we can begin our rough copy of our day in the life of reports.
Keep in mind you will need at least one book!
