I hope everyone enjoyed the lovely evening last night! What a gorgeous day again!

IMPORTANT DATES AND INFORMATION:

Parent-Teacher information sheets have been sent home. Please complete all sections and return as soon as possible. School pictures were sent home today. Order forms and payments are due by Monday, November 16.

Guy Fawkes Day – Thursday, November 5 (please memorize the poem that was sent home yesterday…1000 house points for each student who can memorize it!)

PD DAY – Friday, November 6. We are running a PD Day camp from 7:30-5:00. Forms were sent home yesterday. It is a first come first serve and costs $18.00!

NO SCHOOL – Wednesday, November 11 for Remembrance Day. Please remember to pay your respects.

After care money due Monday, November 16…please pay on time to avoid late charges.

A new fundraising event is just around the corner. From November 9-20, parent guild will be having a gift card campaign and cookie dough fundraiser. Perfect for the Christmas season, which is just around the corner. A flyer was sent home today. All funds raised will go towards a PA System!! MATH

Today we looked at similar figures. Figures that have the same shape are similar. They did very good today and seemed to have grasped this concept.

LANGUAGE

Today was our reading buddies day. We also took some time to go over the science fair and discuss what is expected.

U.O.I (UNIT OF INQUIRY)

We were able to get our work from yesterday finished during recess and today we looked planting crops. Our activity involved ordering the sentences and rewriting it the paragraph to make sense.
