Good afternoon,

I hope everyone enjoyed the night!

IMPORTANT DATES AND INFORMATION:

COOKIE DOUGH AND GIFT CARD FUNDRAISER ENDS TOMORROW…PLEASE GIVE IT ONE MORE PUSH GRADE 4’S. Remember all money raised will go towards a PA System for the school…we also have a chance of winning a pizza party!! PLEASE BRING IN ALL MONEY AND ORDER FORMS TO THE SCHOOL TOMORROW, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20! Thank you to those students who have already brought in their order forms.

A Year Ahead Day will take place on Thursday, December 10. This is a chance for all grade 4’s to experience what life is like in grade 5. All grade 4’s will spend the day with Ms. Kominek who is this year’s grade 5 teacher. I will get to have all the grade 3’s and show that how we roll!! Please keep in mind that although Ms. Kominek is the grade 5 teacher this year, it does not mean she will be the grade 5 teacher next year. The same goes for me as well!

With the money that was earned during the October movie night, parent guild was able to purchase 2 projectors! Thank you so much to the parent guild and all of those who came to watch the movie!!

December lunch forms and money due Friday, November 20 by 3:30…no exceptions!

Bake sale is next Tuesday and Wednesday. If you are interested in purchasing something please bring in your money then. It is not our turn to run the bake the sale, but donations are always welcome!!

MATH
Today was our short math period so we began talking about skip counting by 2, 4, 5, 10, 25, and 100. All of the students were able to show they knew how to skip count. Great job grade 4’s. We will continue this lesson tomorrow as well as move on to our 2nd lesson.

LANGUAGE
Today the students read chapter 3 of ‘Little House in the Big Woods.’ The also completed some comprehension activities. Those who did not finish will finish for homework to the best of their abilities. We also began sharing our UOI summatives: ‘A Day in the Life of.’

U.O.I.
Today we continued sharing our reports on ‘A Day in the Life of.” They were fantastic. Way to work hard grade 4’s!!
