I hope everyone enjoyed the lovely evening last night! What a gorgeous day!

IMPORTANT DATES AND INFORMATION:

Guy Fawkes Day – Thursday, November 5 (please memorize the poem that was sent home today…1000 house points for each student who can memorize it!)

PD DAY – Friday, November 6. We are running a PD Day camp from 7:30-5:00. Forms were sent home today. It is a first come first serve and costs $18.00!

NO SCHOOL – Wednesday, November 11 for Remembrance Day. Please remember to pay your respects.

After care money due Monday, November 16…please pay on time to avoid late charges.

A new fundraising event is just around the corner. From November 9-20, parent guild will be having a gift card campaign and cookie dough fundraiser. Perfect for the Christmas season, which is just around the corner. A flyer was sent home today. All funds raised will go towards a PA System!! MATH

Today we looked at attributes of quadrilaterals. Some attributes of quadrilaterals are all side equal, all angles equal, 1 pair of parallel sides, 2 pairs of parallel sides, etc. They had to solve riddles and draw figures on dot paper.

LANGUAGE

Today we completed our chapter 1 activities for ‘Little House in the Big Woods.’

U.O.I (UNIT OF INQUIRY)

Today we looked at what a pioneer home looks like from the inside. This was a  follow up to our activity on Thursday. Unfortunately due to the chatter that took place during this period, we will be finishing up our activity during recess tomorrow!
