Good afternoon everyone!
I hope you had a fantastic summer. My family most certainly did. We did a lot of outdoor playing, made a few trips up to North Bay, made it to a Jay's game, spent an afternoon at Legoland, celebrated my grandmothers 100th birthday, and spent most weekends by our neighbours pool. Mark and I also spent a week in California. It was an amazing trip. Yesterday Carter headed off to Grade 2 and Kase headed off to JK. A big day for him!

Back to school!
What a busy day we had and
it’s only day one!! I have been blessed with another amazing groups of kids and
I know it is going to be an wonderful year. I am looking forward to watching
them grow! Today we began with gym. Then we practiced opening our locks and
after that, we had French with Mme. Rawan, who seems lovely. After recess and
lunch, we went over some ‘classroom housekeeping’ where we organized desks,
handed out math textbooks, and went over how our year would look. We also began
our artwork for our IB attitudes, attributes, and skills, as well as our DRAs.
We will continue to work on these items the rest of the week. We ended our
first day with a house game. Monday is when we will start our UOI, math, and
language program.
