I hope you all had a wonderful day! Tomorrow
is a Day 4 and gym. Please ensure students are dressed in their gym uniform
ready to board the bus with proper gym shoes at 9:00 AM. Students will change into their school day
uniform after gym. December lunch orders are due tomorrow, Wednesday,
November 20th. Picture re-take day is tomorrow as well.
Congratulations to these three for placing first, second, and third for our SJA Science Fair!! I am so proud of you!!
Our next field trip will
be to the ROM is on Thursday, November
21st. Students will be required to wear their full winter
uniform, including blazers – no house hoodies please. Be sure to back a
disposable lunch. We will be leaving a little before 10 AM and arriving back
sometime around 3 PM, traffic dependent of course. If you are interested in
volunteering, please ensure you have a Vulnerable Sector Screen on file with
the school prior to the trip. If you have already submitted one, please be sure
to sign our annual defence declaration at the front reception.

The lunch site is now open. It
will close Wednesday,
November 20th at 3:00 PM.
Special of the month: Spaghetti and
Meatballs, which is available every Friday.
All payments are to be made through Quickbooks
by December 6th.

Unit of Inquiry
Today
we went curling! We had a few spare minutes to start our UOI summative.
The summative for this unit will have students recreating an ancient
artifact from one of the civilizations we studied. I hope to send home the
summative package tomorrow. As of now, we will be beginning the summative the
week of November 18th with a due date of Thursday, November 28th.
