Just a reminder to dress
according to the ever-changing weather!
We have begun uniform
checks again! These will happen every now and again to ensure that all SJA
students are wearing proper uniform. Uniform
pieces must be bought through Apla and Multiform Canada. Uniform violations will be sent home if a student is not
wearing the proper piece of clothing! First violation: a warning to parents.
Second violation: the office will notify a parent and the correct uniform piece
must be brought to the school the same day. Third violation: uniform piece will
be sent home at parent’s expense. Fourth violation: community service hours
will be assigned. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
The last day of school, Friday, June 12 will now be a full day with Kiss n Ride beginning at 3:30 and after care running from 3:45-6.

and support our fabulous grade 10 students. We will be attending one of the

MATH
Today we studied area and how to
find area. Area is the inside part an object. One way to find the area is to
count the squares. Another way is to use multiplication. Math test will take place on Wednesday, May 25!
LANGUAGE
Today we worked on ‘Cinderella
Bigfoot.’ We continued creating props and went through our skit a few times. It
is coming along!

UOI
Today we looked at soil texture and
structure. We read and then answered some questions!
On a side note, I will not be here
tomorrow as I am headed to track and field with grades 5-8. Mr. Russell will be
here to cover and I know I will hear nothing but great things. I will do my
best to update the blog, but nonetheless I will update the homework sections. I
hope you all have a wonderful evening and weekend!
