Just a reminder to dress
according to the ever-changing weather!
Our Spelling Bee is taking place tomorrow at 9:00 AM sharp! Parents are more than welcome to join us in the auditorium!
We have begun uniform
checks again! These will happen every now and again to ensure that all SJA
students are wearing proper uniform. Uniform
pieces must be bought through Apla and Multiform Canada. Uniform violations will be sent home if a student is not
wearing the proper piece of clothing! First violation: a warning to parents.
Second violation: the office will notify a parent and the correct uniform piece
must be brought to the school the same day. Third violation: uniform piece will
be sent home at parent’s expense. Fourth violation: community service hours
will be assigned. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
The last day of school,
Friday, June 10 will now be a full day with Kiss n Ride beginning at 3:30 and
after care running from 3:45-6.

MATH
Today we looked at 2 lessons. The
first was finding area using square centimetres. On a graph paper each square
represents one square centimetre. We also looked at estimating and measuring
area with irregular shapes!
LANGUAGE
Today we had did spelling lesson
#32 activities. We also had a chance to practice ‘Cinderella Bigfoot’ in the
auditorium!
UOI
Today we learned about nutrients
from the soil. We did some reading and completed an activity.
