Good afternoon,

I hope everyone had a great weekend and enjoyed a wonderful Mother’s Day! I heard lots of wonderful things about yours from watches, to dinners out, to chocolates, and of course the use of your coupons!! Mine was low key: we went out for breakfast, enjoyed a play at the park, and watched lots of Paw Patrol. I was spoiled with an afternoon at the spa, roses, and homemade crafts from my boys. It was a great day!

Just a reminder to dress according to the ever-changing weather!

We have begun uniform checks again! These will happen every now and again to ensure that all SJA students are wearing proper uniform. Uniform pieces must be bought through Apla and Multiform Canada. Uniform violations will be sent home if a student is not wearing the proper piece of clothing! First violation: a warning to parents. Second violation: the office will notify a parent and the correct uniform piece must be brought to the school the same day. Third violation: uniform piece will be sent home at parent’s expense. Fourth violation: community service hours will be assigned. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

A big congratulations to Mrs. Haag and her grade 6 class on a very successful Exhibition. I was able to view all most all of the presentations and I was blown away. Excellent job to all of the grade 6’s!

On Wednesday, May 11, an ice cream truck will be arriving at the school for all PYP students. A parent, Wade Kosowan, from The Maples is doing this in memory of his brother who passed away. The ice cream is free but we are encouraging all PYP students to bring in $2, which will go towards the Eden Food Bank. Please help support the Eden Food Bank!
