A few important reminders/important dates
Just a reminder that students are
now able to wear their summer uniform!
We are once again out of Kleenex,
water, and Lysol Wipes. If you could please bring some in that would be great!
Monday April 13-Friday April 24 – Second Cup coffee bean sale
Monday April 13 & Tuesday April 14 – Bake sale during second recess. Prices range for
$0.50 to $2.00
Thursday April 16 –
Pancake breakfast. Prices vary from $2.00 to $6.00.
Friday April 17 – Ice
cream sundae day. Each sundae costs $5.00.

Monday April 20-Thursday April 24 – Spring Fundraiser!!!! Get out there and raise as much money as you can and help
support St. Jude’s Academy!! All proceeds will go towards a new playground!!
There will be prizes for the class who raises the most money as well as for
individuals who raise the most. For each student who raises $35, they will be
invited to go bowling free of charge!!!

MATH
Today we played around with
different math websites playing transformational games. We are quickly coming
to the end of yet another unit. Next Wednesday April 15 will be our unit test.
Students will be asked to make a block letter of their first initial and create
translations, rotations, and reflections with that letter. A take home test
will also be given on Tuesday April 14! An example has been sent home today!
LANGUAGE
Today was our short language period
so we had our spelling test. Anytime that was left over was used to read
independently!
U.O.I.
Today we reviewed what we have
learned so far in our rocks and minerals unit. We then watched some videos on
rocks and minerals!
