We are once again out of Kleenex, water, and Lysol Wipes. If you could please bring some in that would be great!

MATH

Today both the grade 3’s and 4’s looked at Rotations, which is when a figure turns. We did a class discussion with students volunteers coming up to show ¼, ½, and ¾ turns and then they worked in their textbooks.

LANGUAGE

Today we started another novel study, Mr. Popper’s Penguins. Many of the students have seen the movie so they are familiar with it. Together we read chapter 1 and then the students began character descriptions, chapter 1 summary, and a prediction. They also created a title page.

U.O.I.

Today we looked at ways to describe rocks and minerals. We came up with words such as colour, shape, size, etc. We began filling in a chart with these words and looking at our rocks.
