Good afternoon!

Our last official school day of January! What a month it has been!!

Thank you to Eghosa and Shrihan for singing O’Canada this morning during announcements. Thank you to Aryan for fixing a classmates computer!!

A few important reminders/important dates

We are out of Kleenex and running low on Lysol/Clorox wipes. If we could get some in that would be greatly appreciated.

Pre-registration forms due February 20th.

McBeth Thursday February 12th.

Oral Presentations Thursday February 26th.

DRA and OWA testing has started and will continue next week.

MATH

Monday is our multiplication and division unit test. I have sent home a review with topics that will be on the test. We spent our math period today working with our table groups solving word problems as a final activity for this unit. I feel very confident that everyone will do well!

LANGUAGE

We began this period by writing our spelling test. We then switched gears and continued to work on our speeches and poems. The Grade 3’s are close to having them memorized…well done!! They are encouraged to begin to read with tone and expression.

U.O.I.

We spent this period working on our good copy of our menus. Some of our friends have finished and I am thrilled with what I am seeing. Reminder that the good copy is due Monday! We will also be starting our new Unit of Inquiry next week! It is a great theme!! Thanks to Aziz for sharing his information.

The fundraising team!

Have a great weekend!
