IMPORTANT DATES AND INFORMATION:

SJA will be holding a PD Day camp on Friday, October 9, as it is our first PD day. Forms were sent home earlier this week. It is a first come first serve, so if you are interested please complete the form and hand it along with your money! The cost is $45.00.

are in need of. Anything you can bring in would be greatly

appreciated.

The Maples Academy is holding their Fall Fair and Craft Sale on Saturday, October 3 from 10:00-4:00. It will be lots of fun so please feel free to join in!

I am still waiting on a few parents to connect to ‘Class Dojo.’ It is a great way for you to monitor your child’s behavioural progress while at school! Please continue to sign agendas and check the blog.

Math

Today we looked at comparing and ordering numbers. We arranged numbers from greatest to least and least to greatest. We also used <, >, and = to compare numbers. Remember the bigger number gets eaten…. 1000 > 450, 223 < 299!

Language

Today was our lesson 3 spelling test. We read some of our Goosebumps book and continued work with commas!

U.O.I. (Unit of Inquiry)

This morning we finished our good manners flower. They all turned out really well. Reminder that students will have a small test on what they remembered about a place setting on Monday, October 5.
