I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! Thank you to everyone who has brought in food for the Eden Food Drive! Please keep it coming! We are practicing report writing for our OWA which requires research so devices will be needed over the next few days!

Our first DRA assessments have been sent home. If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. 

Full uniforms will be in effect beginning Tuesday, October 13!

SJA will be holding a PD Day camp on Friday, October 9, as it is our first PD day. Forms were sent home earlier this week. It is a first come first serve, so if you are interested please complete the form and hand it along with your money! The cost is $45.00.

We are collecting food for the Eden Food Drive from now until

Thursday, October 8.  A list was sent via email for items they

are in need of. Anything you can bring in would be greatly

appreciated.

Math

This morning we looked at estimating. Estimating is a number close to an amount or value, but not exact. It is a reasonable guess. This is where our rounding comes into play!

Language

Today was our spelling activity day. We focused on lesson 4 (hard and soft c and g). We also began looking at how to write a report, as our post-assessment for our OWA will be Tuesday, October 13.

U.O.I. (Unit of Inquiry)

Today was our place setting quiz. Once they finished, they completed a word search and crossword!
