I hope everyone had a wonderful night! Thank you to everyone who has brought in food for the Eden Food Drive! Please keep it coming!

IMPORTANT DATES AND INFORMATION:

SJA Parent Guild will be hosting a movie night on Friday, October 23 from 6:30-8:30 PM. Free child care will happen between 6:00-6:30 PM. The cost is $10 and includes water, popcorn, and a chocolate treat. Pizza will be sold at $2.00/slice. Feel free to bring a pillow and a blanket to get cozy!! There will be two movie choices, Shaun the Sheep and Tomorrow Land, both of which are rated PG.

SJA will be holding a PD Day camp on Friday, October 9, as it is our first PD day. Forms were sent home earlier this week. It is a first come first serve, so if you are interested please complete the form and hand it along with your money! The cost is $45.00.

This morning we looked at mental math. This is when you can do simple addition in your head. This is another area where our rounding comes into play!

Language

Today we had a very hard time getting an internet connection for our report research, so spent 10 minutes reading Goosebumps and spent a period in the library. Our post-assessment for our OWA will be Tuesday, October 13.

U.O.I. (Unit of Inquiry)

Today Ms. B came up with some activities for us to complete. Our topic was manners around the world. We discussed manners, completed a survey about manners from around the world, watched a short video and did a follow up activity.
