I hope everyone had a wonderful night! Thank you to everyone who has brought in food for the Eden Food Drive! Tomorrow is the last day so please keep it coming!

IMPORTANT DATES AND INFORMATION:

SJA Parent Guild will be hosting a movie night on Friday, October 23 from 6:30-8:30 PM. Free child care will happen between 6:00-6:30 PM. The cost is $10 and includes water, popcorn, and a chocolate treat. Pizza will be sold at $2.00/slice. Feel free to bring a pillow and a blanket to get cozy!! There will be two movie choices, Shaun the Sheep and Tomorrow Land, both of which are rated PG. Forms will be sent home tomorrow and are due back with money by Friday, October 16.

SJA will be holding a PD Day camp on Friday, October 9, as it is our first PD day. Forms were sent home earlier this week. It is a first come first serve, so if you are interested please complete the form and hand it along with your money!

They worked so hard this morning…it was awesome! Todays lesson was on adding 3 digit numbers with regrouping (carrying) and with no regrouping.

Language

Today we began with reading buddies. Both classes seem to be really enjoying it. We also began writing our report from our Writing 4 books. Our post-assessment for our OWA will be Tuesday, October 13.

U.O.I. (Unit of Inquiry)

Today we learned about personal safety. We completed a personal information sheet and discussed why it is important to know such information.
